Honda Organizes Big Bike Ride with GODS; Imparts Tyre Training

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India recently organised a ‘Big Bike Ride’ with Group of Delhi Superbikers (GODS) last weekend to promote safe riding. Honda has been a consistent promoter of safe riding in India and has very consistently kept organizing rides like this to spread more knowledge among people to help people understand the true connection between safety and riding.

The event was flagged off from a pre-defined assembly point in Mahipalpur. Before that, every biker was given an elaborate training session on tyre care.

Honda had collaborated with Sarv Technologies for the training session where knowledgeable professionals conducted a session on importance of tyre care. They also taught the best possible ways to look after the rubber of their motorcycles.

Tyres are actually the connecting link between the tarmac, or the surface one is riding on, and the bike. All the power which the bike’s engine produces will be worthless if tyres are not able to spin and transfer the energy to the ground, helping the bike to leap forward to glory.

A back-up kit which has a first-aid box, instant puncture repair kit and other key information such as hospital contact numbers were included with the gear of every rider to avoid mishaps during the course. The ride was packed up with breakfast at a hotel in Gurgaon. Taking time out of their busy urban schedule, the riders were able to learn some basic nuances about maintaining their bike.

Each rider was presented with an Instant Puncture Repair Kit which had all the essential elements required in quickly fix their tyres to get ready to hit the roads as soon as possible.
