Honda Launches Improved Fuel Efficient 2013 Dream Yuga HET: No Price Increase

In what could be seen as a move to tighten the noose around former partner Hero, Japanese manufacturer has unveiled its 2013 version of the popular decent-looking Dream Yuga model.

The most notable change has been the addition of the revolutionary Honda Eco Technology to the 110cc mill, which slightly improves the mileage from the current 72 kmpl to 74 kmpl. And despite the incorporation of the HET, the Dream Yuga still retails at the same price of Rs. 45,101 Ex-Showroom, Delhi.

Launched quite a few months back, the Dream Yuga has been Honda’s India-specific take on a segment that’s currently dominated by Hero, and gets ruffled up even at the slightest hint of volatility in hydrocarbon prices. The Dream Yuga has been accepted pretty well in the market and is already regarded as a frugal and rugged counterpart. It comes with features like tubeless tyres (optional), viscous air filter and maintenance-free battery among others. Dream Yuga also boasts of a comfortable riding posture, as well as a smooth ride thanks to the longer suspension travel.

The new 2013 edition of Dream Yuga is available for sale in 3 variants:
