
Honda 2-Wheelers India sales in July 2025 exceeded 5 lakh units as it outnumbered rival brands like Hero MotoCorp, TVS and Bajaj.
Honda 2-Wheelers India reported overall sales of more than 5.15 lakh units in July 2025. The company retailed 4,66,331 units in the domestic market while exporting 49,047 units to various global markets from India. The Japanese witnessed a month-on-month (MOM) sales growth of 20 percent as compared to the total sales in June 2025. As far as Year-to-Date (YTD) data of FY26 (April–July 2025) is concerned, Honda sold 18,88,242 units which included 16,93,036 units in the Indian market and 1,95,206 units exported out of the country.
Honda was the country’s leading two-wheeler brand by a decent margin as its arch rival Hero managed to sell around 4.50 lakh units in July 2025. It also beat TVS Motor Company which had an overall sales of 456,350 units in July 2025. Hence, Honda emerged as the undisputed market leader in the two-wheeler industry in the Indian market last month.

The Japanese two-wheeler brand recently completed 25 years in the Indian market. In order to commemorate this momentous occasion, Honda unveiled two new motorcycles in the form of the Shine 100 DX and CB125 Hornet. Both these motorcycles went on sale from Aug 1 as the bookings started on this day along with price announcement. Though deliveries of both these models will commence from mid-Aug 2025.
Honda CB125 Hornet was launched at a limited period introductory price of Rs 1.12 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurgaon). It was presented in four colour schemes namely Pearl Siren Blue with Lemon Ice Yellow, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Siren Blue with Athletic Blue Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue with Sports Red. The bike has the best-in-segment time of 5.4 secs for the 0-60 kmph sprint. In addition, it gets first-in-segment golden USD front forks as standard fitment.

Coming to Honda Shine 100 DX, it has been priced at Rs 74,959 (ex-showroom, Gurgaon). The new commuter is offered in four single-tone colours namely Pearl Igneous Black, Imperial Red Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic, and Geny Gray Metallic. The bike boasts of a digital LCD instrument cluster which displays real-time mileage, distance-to-empty, and service due reminders.
Honda has announced to unveil its first big electric motorcycle on Sep 2, 2025. It is likely to deliver performance equivalent to a 500cc ICE-powered bike. To be based on the Fun EV concept which debuted last year, the new Honda electric motorcycle might not be introduced in the Indian market, at least for the time being.
