Honda has been a well-known image in promoting biking culture in India, the Sunday rides which they organise in collaboration with GODS (Group of Delhi Superbikers) is a distinguished example where riders take out their motorcycles on go for rides from some place in the national capital to some tourist location in the surrounding areas of the national capital. All the riders are given safety instructions by qualified professionals and are trained by experts in how to make their ride enjoyable and at the same time safe.
The company recently felicitated Surajeet Pramanik for being the highest mileage Big Bike Rider in India during the recently concluded Big Bike Weekend. Surajeet has been adjudged by Honda to have covered the maximum number of miles on a Honda ‘Big’ bike in India, and this is no mean feat.
Efforts like these do make the riders feel special, encouraging riders to get even more serious and dedicated to their riding. It even helps to get ‘fresh blood’ into the biking culture who can take motorcycling as their hobby as a part of popular culture.
The company also takes traffic safety at paramount importance and recently conducted a traffic safety event in Delhi where they gave information to people about the various traffic rules and how they can make Indian roads a much safer place.
The company has even opened two traffic parks in Delhi itself where people can walk in to know more about traffic rules and road etiquettes.
