Honda 2-Wheelers India has reported total sales of 5,91,136 units in Nov 2025, which includes 5,33,645 units in the domestic market and 57,491 units in exports. The Japanese brand registered a YoY growth of 25 percent as compared to Nov 2024 sales. The company further stated that it has posted total sales of 42,32,748 units in the Year-to-Date (YTD) period of FY26 (April–November 2025). Honda missed out on bagging the topmost position from Hero by a slim margin of around 13,000 units as the latter sold 6,04,490 units last month in the Indian market. While Hero was at the pole position, Honda claimed the second position followed by TVS and Bajaj at third and fourth spots, respectively. Suzuki was in fifth position in this list.

The company recently stopped the production of its all-electric models namely Activa e and QC1 in the country. Apparently, the production of both these e-scooters was temporarily suspended due to extremely poor sales numbers. If the SIAM data is to be believed, Honda has not produced a single unit of any of these models since Aug 2025. Honda Activa electric recorded sales of merely 740 units in six months (Feb-Aug 2025).

We have learnt that Honda has plans to launch new 350cc bikes in the Indian market due to the recent cut in GST rates. The Union Govt had slashed the existing 28 percent tax to 18 percent on bikes with engine capacity below 350cc. Hence, Honda along with Bajaj and Hero will introduce multiple models in this segment in the coming months in the Indian market.
