At the ongoing RevFest, as scheduled, Honda has launched the biggest bike in their non-CBU portfolio – the CBR650F! Showcased and confirmed for our market first at the Auto Expo of 2014, it took Honda exactly one and half year to bring it to production.
The sports tourer could have been the most affordable four cylinder motorcycle had it come earlier, but the baton has now been held comfortably by the Bennelli’s 600cc twins.
The CBR650F is powered by a 649cc inline four cylinder engine mated to a six speed gearbox and churns out a maximum power output of 87 PS and a peak torque of 62.9 Nm. ABS is standard and it has been priced at Rs 7.3 Lakhs ex-showroom in Delhi, which should put it as an under or around 8 Lakh on-road motorcycle.
