
Honda CB125 Hornet and Shine 100 DX bookings have started and the first deliveries are scheduled to begin by mid-August 2025 in a phased manner.
Honda 2-Wheelers India has launched the CB125 Hornet and Shine 100 DX in the domestic market. While Honda CB125 Hornet goes on sale at a limited period introductory price of Rs 1.12 lakh, Honda Shine 100 DX price stands at Rs 74,959 (Both the prices are ex-showroom, Gurgaon). The bookings for both these new motorcycles have commenced online as well as at the company authorized dealerships across the country. The Japanese brand states that deliveries of both the models will begin from mid-August 2025 in a phased manner.
Honda CB125 Hornet is offered in four colour options namely Pearl Siren Blue with Lemon Ice Yellow, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Siren Blue with Athletic Blue Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue with Sports Red. Some of the notable design elements onboard the motorcycle are muscular fuel tank, all-LED lighting, premium muffler and ignition key mounted on fuel tank.

Underpinned by a diamond type frame, Honda CB125 Hornet gets segment-first golden USD front forks and 5-step adjustable rear mono-shock absorber. The bike also houses a 4.2-inch TFT display with bluetooth connectivity through Honda RoadSync App which offers an array of features to the rider in the form of navigation, calls & SMS alerts.
Honda has left no stone unturned to make the CB125 Hornet a premium model by including bells and whistles like USB Type-C charging port, single-channel ABS and side-stand indicator with engine inhibitor. At the heart, it has the OBD-2B compliant 123.94cc single-cylinder petrol engine which generates max power of 11 bhp at 7500 rpm and highest torque of 11.2 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine is coupled with a 5-speed gearbox while the bike takes just 5.4 secs for a 0-60 kmph sprint.
Coming to Honda Shine 100 DX, it will be the range-topping model in the Shine 100 line-up while being a direct rival to the recently launched Hero HF Deluxe Pro in India. The commuter comes with a new headlamp with chrome garnish, sculpted fuel tank and a chrome muffler cover. It boasts of a long single-piece seat, all-black engine and grab rail while available in four colours namely Pearl Igneous Black, Imperial Red Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic, and Geny Gray Metallic.

In terms of features, Honda Shine 100 DX is packed with a digital LCD instrument cluster which displays multiple infos to the rider in the form of real-time mileage, distance-to-empty, and service due reminders. Mechanically, it is powered by the same OBD-2B compliant 98.98cc single-cylinder petrol engine with eSP (Enhanced Smart Power) tech to deliver top power of 7.28 bhp at 7500 rpm and peak torque of 8.04 Nm at 5000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 4-speed gearbox.
