The Activa and Shine 125 accounted for more than 80 percent of Honda’s overall sales in Apr 2026
Honda retained its position as India’s second largest two-wheeler brand in Apr 2026 with sales of 4,84,972 units. The Japanese brand registered a YoY growth of 15 percent as a total of 4,22,931 units were retailed in Apr 2025. However, the MoM sales declined by 5 percent as the company had recorded sales of 5,12,303 units in Mar 2026. The Activa continued to lead the sales charts for Honda with sales of more than 2.20 lakh units last month. The fastest growing models on a YoY basis were the CB 350 and H’Ness 350.
As for the Activa, it seems as if there is no alternative for the tried-and-trusted model in the scooter segment and it is likely to rule the roost until Honda finally decides to retire it. With a YoY growth of 13 percent, Honda sold 2,20,774 units of the scooter in Apr 2026 as compared to 1,94,787 units in Apr 2025. However, the MoM sales dropped by 15 percent as 2,59,670 units were retailed in Mar 2026.
The second best-selling Honda was the Shine 125 in Apr 2026 with retail volumes of 1,68,636 units. It was India’s top-selling 125cc motorcycle with YoY and MoM growth of 13 percent and 15 percent, respectively. The company had sold 1,49,475 units of the bike in Apr 2025 while 1,46,657 units of the Shine 125 were retailed in Mar 2026. The Shine 100, on the other hand, witnessed a rare decline in YoY sales by 27 percent as Honda was able to sell 14,238 units last month against 19,433 units in Apr 2026.

Honda CB Unicorn 150 was the third highest-selling model in Apr 2026 with a YoY growth of 51 percent as 39,310 units were sold last month as compared to 26,017 units in Apr 2025. The Dio 110 and Dio 125 reported sales of 13,769 units and 13,314 units, respectively, in Apr 2026. The all-electric duo of Activa e and QC1 had retail volumes of 200 units and 552 units, respectively, last month.
Honda CB 125 Hornet posted sales of 4,093 units in Apr 2026 while the Livo suffered a major setback as volumes were down by 88 percent on a YoY basis with merely 529 units being sold. Three more Honda motorcycles namely SP 160, Hornet 2.0, and CB 200X registered negative YoY growth of 13 percent, 55 percent and 67 percent, respectively, in Apr 2026.

Last but not the least, the biggest gainers for Honda in Apr 2026 were its 350cc motorcycles namely the CB 350 and H’Ness 350 with YoY growth of 113 percent and 130 percent, respectively. While the brand sold 3,975 units of the CB 350 in Apr 2026 as compared to 1,863 units in Apr 2025, a total of 2,105 units of the H’Ness 350 were retailed last month against 917 units in Apr 2025.
