Honda ADV160 Flex-Fuel Launch Price Rs 1.70 Lakh, Bookings Open

The ADV160, capable of running on flex fuel with ethanol blending of upto 85 percent (E85), deliveries will start from mid-Oct 2026

Honda ADV160 flex-fuel has been launched at a sticker price of Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) in the Indian market. Being unveiled in July 2026 as the brand’s first phase of the 10-product portfolio for India, it will be available through Honda RedWing and BigWing dealerships. The official bookings for the ADV160 maxi-scooter have started at a token payment of Rs 5,000 at the company’s official website as well as at Honda’s dealerships in the country. The first deliveries are promised from mid-October 2026 onwards.

Presented as Honda’s first flex-fuel scooter, it is capable of running of running on E85 fuel which has ethanol blending of 85 percent. The ADV160 comes with Honda’s proven FlexTech technology. Flaunting an adventure-inspired styling, the maxi-scooter comes with 27 litres of underseat storage capacity while able to tackle rough city roads with utmost ease.

At the heart, Honda ADV160 flex fuel has the 156.93cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which develops top power of 16 bhp at 8,500 rpm and peak torque of 14.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Some of the notable features onboard the maxi-scooter are TFT instrument cluster with Honda RoadSync tech, Turn by Turn Navigation and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).

The braking duties are handled by disc units at front and rear alongside a single-channel ABS. Honda ADV160 maxi-scooter rides on 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheels. Sitting on an underbone chassis, it gets telescopic front forks and dual-shock rear suspension. The ADV160 tips the weighing scale at 133 kg, which makes it 7 kg heavier than the Aerox 155. However, the Xoom 160 remains the heaviest maxi-scooter in the segment with a kerb weight of 142 kg.

The saddle height is pegged at 780 mm. It has fuel tank capacity of 8.1 litres while the ground clearance is pegged at 165 mm. The maxi-scooter comes fitted with fatter and more grippy 110/130-section front and rear tyres. It has become the most expensive scooter in its segment as Hero Xoom 160 and Yamaha Aerox are sold at a lower price point.

Recently, Honda had filed the design patent of the ADV160 in India and since then, it was believed that the maxi-scooter will go on sale in our country very soon. Now, with the official launch, Honda has finally decided to enter the high-performance scooter segment. Honda ADV160 E85 will be locally manufactured in our country at the brand’s factory.
