The new Lite BaaS plan for Honda Activa e: offers a monthly run of up to 600 km (20 km per day) at a nominal amount of Rs 678/- only.
Honda 2-Wheelers India launched the Activa e: in Jan 2025 at a starting price of Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) in the country. It initially went on sale in only three cities namely Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai. Since Honda Activa e: comes with two detachable battery packs with no provision of home charging, the Japanese brand rolled out two BaaS subscription models for the electric scooter. Now, it has introduced a new entry-level ‘Lite’ BaaS plan at just Rs 678/- per month for usage of up to 600 km, which translates into 20 km per day run.
Honda Activa e: Lite plan is the most affordable BaaS subscription model to ever get introduced in the Indian market for an electric scooter. It is specifically designed for customers with lower daily running. By opting for this plan, the buyers can swap batteries at the brand’s battery swapping stations as per their comfort and convenience.
The Activa e: was earlier introduced with two BaaS programs namely Basic and Advance. While the former came at a cost of Rs 1,999/- per month for 35 km run daily run, the latter offered a run of 87 km per day at a monthly cost of Rs 2,600/- on the purchase of the electric scooter. The aforementioned BaaS plans appear quite decent for fleet operators, but for an individual with low daily run, they were quite expensive.
Honda Activa e: is powered by two 1.5 kWh swappable batteries which return a range of 102 km on a full charge. The battery packs have been termed as Honda Mobile Power Pack e: which has been developed by Honda Motor Co. Ltd. Japan. Though, it is managed by Honda Power Pack Energy India Pvt. Ltd (HEID) in the domestic market. The batteries are linked to a in-house developed permanent magnet synchronous electric motor with top power of 8 bhp.

The Activa e: does the 0-60 kmph sprint in merely 7.3 seconds before topping out at 80 kmph. Some of the notable features onboard include 7-inch TFT display, Honda RoadSync Duo App connectivity, 3-year/50,000 km standard warranty, 3-free periodic maintenance services and free roadside assistance (RSA) among others.
The Activa electric scooter is available in five colour schemes namely Pearl Serenity Blue, Pearl Misty White, Matt Foggy Silver Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, and Pearl Shallow Blue. The bookings for the e-scooter are open in select cities across the country at a token payment of Rs 1,000 only.
