Himalayan 450 launch date has been revealed as Royal Enfield has started sending out ride invite mailers to the media..
Call it the controversial queen or anything else, but let us admit that Himalayan has been a motorcycle that has a lot of interest in the market. Had it not been the extremely poor quality checks of the first few iterations, Himalayan would have been a rocking product from the company. It still is… but it would have been even better!
Anyway, seems like the current Himalayan 410’s days a numbered as the Chennai based maker has prepared a bigger Himalayan 450 for the Indian as well as the global market. There has been a lot of talk on this model on the internet as it plugs the most vital gap that the 410 had – lack of power.
The Himalayan 450 is touted to get an all-new near 450cc engine that will, for the first time, sport liquid cooling. In fact, the power and torque figures are speculated to be mind-bogglingly good – for a Royal Enfield. And the already extremely competent hardware has also gone for a major revamp – in what could result as one of the most complete mid-sized ADVs in the Indian market.

Royal Enfield is sending block your date invite mailers to the media and the dates are from October 30th to about November 1st. These are the media ride dates and the launch should be around the same timeframe.
