Both the Hero Xpulse 210 and Xtreme 250R debuted at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January with bookings opening on March 20.
Hero MotoCorp launched the all-new Xpulse 210 and Xtreme 250R at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January. However, the official bookings for both motorcycles began on March 20, 2025. The deliveries of both the bikes have started in a few select cities. We have learnt through sources that the general waiting period on Hero Xpulse 210 is around 6-8 weeks while the Hero Xtreme 250R commands a waiting period of nearly 8 weeks. Surprisingly, the first batch of Xpulse 210 has not reached Hero Premia dealerships in metro cities like Mumbai and Pune.
The Jaipur-based two-wheeler brand, on the sidelines of Xpulse 210 and Xtreme 250R launch, had announced that these motorcycles will only be sold through the Premia dealerships, not the regular Hero showrooms. The company had a sales network of 40 Premia dealers in 35 cities across the country by late 2024 which is very less as compared to standard Hero touchpoints.

Hero Xpulse 210 and Xtreme 250R are priced at Rs 1.76 lakh and Rs 1.80 lakh (Both ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively, in the Indian market. Initially bookings were expected to commence from Feb 2025 and deliveries in the subsequent month. However, it didn’t work out as planned by the brand and the bookings were postponed to March 20, 2025.
Hero MotoCorp didn’t discontinue the Xpulse 200 altogether post the launch of Xpulse 210 and both the bikes are sold simultaneously. Tested by the Hero Motosports riders, the Xpulse 210 uses a 210cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine as compared to the air/oil-cooled engine of the Xpulse 200. The front and rear suspension travel are rated at 210mm and 205mm, respectively. It has a ground clearance of 220mm.
Some of the notable features in the Xpulse 210 include Class-D LED projector headlamp, H-shaped LED tail lamp, 4.2-inch TFT display, Dual-channel switchable ABS, and a slipper and assist clutch. The off-roader is the only motorcycle in its segment at this price point and hence it enjoys a free run with no direct rivals.

As for the Hero Xtreme 250R, it marks the brand’s debut in the quarter-litre (250cc) segment of motorcycles in the domestic market. Based on the Xtunt 2.5R concept, it is claimed to be the fastest in the segment. The bike sits on a trellis frame which is suspended by 43mm USD dual cartridge front forks. Powered by a 250cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, it has max power output of 29.6 bhp at 9250 rpm and highest torque of 25 Nm at 7250 rpm while paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
