Hero Vida VX2 is just a few days away from hitting the Indian roads and we have all the important details of the upcoming electric scooter.
Hero MotoCorp will launch the Vida VX2 electric scooter on July 1, 2025 in the Indian market. Though the scooter was spotted undisguised in a Matt Yellow shade a few days back at a Hero dealership, new details regarding the variants, battery pack and colours have emerged on the web. We earlier told you that the upcoming Vida VX2 will be offered with a BaaS subscription model to achieve aggressive pricing. It is touted as the most affordable Hero electric scooter in India while positioned below the Vida V2 in the company’s portfolio.
Hero Vida VX2 Colours
The Vida VX2 will go on sale in seven paint schemes namely Yellow, Orange, Black, White, Red, Blue and Grey. For those asking, the company has already revealed three colourways namely White, Red, and Blue in the teaser videos. Unlike the dual-tone colour options offered with the Vida V2, the VX2 will only be retailed in single-tone colours.

Hero Vida VX2 Variants
Earlier it was speculated that the Vida VX2 will be available in three variants namely Lite, Plus and Pro as the company had trademarked all these monikers in the domestic market. However, a new report claims that it will be sold only in two variants namely Go and Plus. Both these variants will be equipped with different battery packs.
Hero Vida VX2 Battery & Range
While the base Go trim will be packed with a 2.2 kWh detachable battery, the range-topping Plus grade will come loaded with two swappable batteries of 3.4 kWh. The exact range figures are not released yet, but we expect the Vida VX2 Go to return a range of at least 100 km on a single charge. The VX2 Pro trim could have a range in excess of 150 km.

Hero Vida VX2 Features
Since the Vida VX2 is presented as a budget-friendly electric scooter, it will miss out on several premium features seen on the Vida V2. It will boast of a physical key, smaller TFT screen and a single seat setup among others. On the contrary, the Vida V2 gets a digital key, bigger touchscreen TFT display and a split seat setup. The switchgear is also likely to be an ordinary unit.
Hero Vida VX2 Price & Rivals
The Vida VX2 will be highly affordable with a starting price of around Rs 65,000-70,000 (ex-showroom) with the BaaS subscription model. The Vida V2 range starts at Rs 96,000 (ex-showroom). The VX2 will rival Ola S1 Air, Bajaj Chetak 3001 and the upcoming TVS Orbiter in the Indian market.
