Hero MotoCorp has finally launched the VX2 electric scooter at an introductory price of Rs 59,490 (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. Being the brand’s most affordable e-scooter, it will be available with the BaaS (Battery-as-a-Service) model with pay-per-kilometre plans starting at Rs 0.96 per km. The Vida VX2 will be available in two variants namely Plus and Go. Equipped with detachable battery packs, the electric scooter is offered with a comprehensive warranty package of 5 years/50,000 km.
The entry-level VX2 Go trim comes loaded with a single portable 2.2 kWh battery which returns a range of 92 km on a single charge. The e-scooter rides on 12-inch wheels which are widest in the segment.

The Go trim comes with Eco and Ride modes whereas the Plus grade features an additional Sport mode.

While the Go variant is packed with a 4.3-inch LCD display, the Plus trim carries a 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster with smartphone integration for real-time ride statistics, telemetry, and Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA) updates.
