Hero Splendor is going come in its ‘Futuristic’ avatar very soon… Teaser suggests new graphics and tech features…
So, today Hero MotoCorp took to their social media to post a teaser image of the new update to their ever-popular Splendor motorcycle.

The new teaser suggests that the new updated Splendor is going to launch in our market really soon.
The image shows the classic silhouette of the Splendor model over a darkened background. Clearly indicating that the motorcycle is Splendor is the iconic rectangular headlight illuminated by a hazy yellowish light and a small LED strip above it.
Hero have captioned the teaser image saying ‘Bold New Style meets futuristic technology’. This means that the iconic Splendor is stepping into the modern times and will be getting some advanced goodies.
We expect no mechanical changes in the new updated Splendor. We think the bike will be getting cosmetic changes such as new colour options highlighted by upgraded graphics.
The ‘Futuristic technology’ part of the caption has us very interested. We think that the updated Splendor could be teched-out with Hero’s XTEC Bluetooth connectivity features to make the bike more appealing to the prospective customers.
Furthermore, if Hero MotoCorp is ambitious enough, they might also add turn-by-turn navigation to the new Splendor to make it irresistible for the customers. No harm in hoping, right!??
Hero could still further surprise us by unveiling a bigger 125 cc powered Splendor loaded with all the modern features. But this is highly unlikely.
Most probably, the updated Splendor will retain the 97.2 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine of the current model. The engine produces 7.8 HP and 8.05 Nm of torque connected to a 4-speed transmission.
Well, expect the unveiling/launching of the new & updated Hero Splendor to happen really soon. All the speculations and expectations will be dismissed and/or proved correct then…
