Hero Splendor was the numero-uno two-wheeler model in Oct 2025 sales with over 3.40 lakh units in the domestic market
Hero Splendor was the highest-selling two-wheeler in Oct 2025 in the Indian market. Despite witnessing a YoY de-growth of 13.15 percent, it topped the sales charts last month with 3,40,131 units as compared to 3,91,612 units in Oct 2024. The overall sales of top 10 two-wheelers was 14,67,944 units in Oct 2025 with a YoY growth of 2.6 percent against the 14,38,337 units retailed during the same period last year. This rise in sales was predominantly due to reduced prices of two-wheeler models with engine capacity below 350cc because of the cut in GST rates from existing 28 percent to 18 percent.
The total two-wheeler sales of top 10 models stood at 14,62,687 units in Sep 2025, and hence MoM growth was also achieved in Oct 2025. Hero Splendor continued to dominate at the top with a massive market share of 23.17 percent. If we compare the Oct 2025 and Oct 2024 sales data, volumes dipped by 51,481 units but still the Splendor retained the pole position.

The second position was occupied by Honda Activa with sales of 3,26,551 units. It recorded a YoY growth of 22.39 percent as 2,66,806 units were retailed in Oct 2024. With a market share of 22.25 percent, the Activa also touched the sales milestone of 35 million units last month. There are presently three Activa models on sale in the form of Activa 110, Activa 125 and Active Electric.
The third spot was also bagged by a Honda two-wheeler in the form of the Shine. The company sold a total of 1,74,615 units of the motorcycle last month as compared to 1,96,288 units in Oct 2024, thereby witnessing a YoY negative growth of 11.04 percent. It had a decent market share of 11.9 percent. Honda Shine range includes Shine 100, Shine 100 DX and Shine 125.
Bajaj Pulsar took the fourth position with 1,52,996 units in Oct 2025. It saw a massive YoY growth by 36.18 percent as the brand was able to retail 1,11,834 Pulsars during the same period last month. Following it was the TVS Jupiter with 1,18,888 units at the fifth spot as it registered a YoY growth of 8.37 percent due to 1,09,702 units sold in Oct 2024.
The sixth and seventh positions were filled by Hero HF Deluxe and Suzuki Access with YoY de-growth in sales numbers. The eighth and ninth spots went to TVS Apache and TVS Raider as both these models saw a high surge in sales volumes. Bajaj Platina settled at the eventual tenth position with sales of over 50k units in Oct 2025.
