Hero Passion+ Disc Launch Price Rs 84,128 in India – Details

The new variant in the Passion+ range gets LED projector headlamp, front disc brake and fully digital instrument cluster as standard features

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Passion+ Disc at a sticker price of Rs 84,128 (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the Indian market. The new variant in the Passion+ line-up will be available at Hero MotoCorp dealerships across the country. Being the range-topping variant, Hero Passion+ Disc sits above the Drum and 125 Million Edition in the commuter motorcycle range. It has been rolled out in four dual-tone colour schemes namely Heavy Grey, Nexus Blue, Dark Industrial Grey, and Pearl Red.

The Passion+ Disc flaunts a first-in-segment LED projector headlamp upfront while the body gets dual-tone paint scheme. Hero has also equipped the new variant with a side stand indicator with engine cut-off for enhanced safety of the riders. It boasts of a plush and comfortable long seat with a relaxed riding triangle for fatigue-free long city commutes.

The biggest additions are front disc brake and fully digital instrument cluster, both of which are offered as standard fitments. The instrument console comes with advanced features such as Real Time Mileage Indicator (RTMI), Bluetooth connectivity with call and SMS Alerts, Service Reminders, Low Fuel Indicator, Trip Meter, Speedometer and Odometer readouts.

A special mention goes to the spacious utility case for storing small belongings while an integrated USB charging port is also there so that the riders stay connected on the move. Hero Passion+ Disc also packs the brand’s patented i3S (Idle Stop-Start System) technology. It has a claimed fuel efficiency of 71 kmpl, which is one of the highest in the segment.

At the heart, the Passion+ Disc houses the BS6 and OBD-2 Phase A compliant 100cc petrol engine which produces top power of 7.9 bhp at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 8.05 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine is linked to a 4-speed gearbox with a wet multi plate clutch. Sitting on a double cradle frame, the bike features telescopic front forks and rear twin-shock units.
