Hero MotoCorp’s electric vehicle brand Vida recorded its highest-ever monthly sales in July 2025 with 10,489 retail registrations at VAHAN portal

Hero MotoCorp has registered a YoY sales growth of 21 percent in July 2025 by dispatching nearly 4.50 lakh units of two-wheelers as compared to 3.70 lakh units during the same month last year. The brand’s EV arm Vida recorded its highest-ever monthly sales in July 2025 with 11,226 units being dispatched to the dealers. As per the data available on VAHAN portal, the company managed to have 339,827 retail registrations last month in the domestic market including 10,489 units of the Vida electric scooters.

If we talk about motorcycle models, Hero wheeled out more than 4 lakh units in July 2025 against the 3.40 lakh units in the corresponding month last year. The scooter segment witnessed massive growth with over 49k units being dispatched last month as compared to 30k odd units in July 2024. This success story was led by Destini 125 and Xoom 125, stated Hero in an official press note.

If we take a look at the export volumes, it shipped 37,300 units to various global markets in July 2025 against the 22,739 units in July 2024. In all, Hero MotoCorp had best of the times last month with exceptional sales volumes in both domestic sales and exports. The home-grown two-wheeler brand, in an official statement, said that ‘with the upcoming festive season, volumes are projected to rise in the coming months’.

Hero MotoCorp had recently launched a new top-of-the-line variant of its best-selling 100cc commuter model HF Deluxe. Christened as Hero HF Deluxe Pro, it was presented at a sticker price of Rs 73,550 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Hero’s arch rival, Honda too rolled out a range-topping variant of its entry-level bike Shine 100 at the same time. Termed as Honda Shine 100 DX, it was priced at Rs 74,959 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Since most of the 100cc bikes get only basic features, the HF Deluxe Pro comes equipped with segment-first LED headlamp, digital speedometer with real-time riding data and Low Fuel Indicator (LFI), 18-inch wheels with tubeless tyres, 2-step adjustable rear suspension and Hero’s i3S (Idle Stop-Start System) tech among others.

As Hero claimed, Vida electric scooters recorded their highest-ever monthly sales with 10,489 retail registrations at VAHAN portal. The company also doubled its YoY (Year-on-Year) EV VAHAN market share to 10.2 percent. According to the company, the recently launched Vida VX2, with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) subscription model, received an exceptional market response.
