Hero Mavrick price becomes its biggest talking point and it undercuts almost every direct rival we can think of…
Bang at the slot I had thought, Hero has launched its biggest ever motorcycle in India – the Mavrick 440. The roadster cruiser is based on the Harley Davidson X440’s platform which means it carries over a lot of positives of the American maker’s smallest!
Hero Mavrick Price
First up, the most important USP of the motorcycle – its price…
Mavrick Base | Rs 1.99 Lac |
Mavrick Mid | Rs 2.14 Lac |
Mavrick Top | Rs 2.24 Lac |
Yes, Hero has kept it very simple and the variant names are as they are! These prices are ex-showroom pan-India. And though, these flat prices look like introductory, we could not find any specific mention of this in the press note.
This means, the Mavrick undercuts the sibling X440 by 41k to 56k – which appears to be phenomenal bang for the buck! And that is not all! If you are among the first bookers, Hero will reward you with a Mavrick kit which, the company says, is worth Rs 10,000. This kit will comprise accessories and merchandise for the roadster. But remember, this offer is valid for bookings before 15th March.
EXCLUSIVE: Harley X440 Sells More Than Hero’s Entire 150-200cc Line-up in Dec
It must be noted that the Mavrick comes with the same air-oil cooled single cylinder engine of the X440 and produces 27 bhp of peak power at 6000 rpm and impressive 36 Nm of max torque at 4000 rpm. From the X440’s response we can predict that the Mavrick will be lovely at low and mid revs.
So, what do you think – will you prefer the Mavrick over its rivals like the Speed 400, X440 and others…?
