The company posted a marginal YoY de-growth in June 2026 as, except for the Splendor, sales of multiple commuter motorcycles declined heavily
Hero MotoCorp dispatched over 5.02 lakh units in June 2026 and continued as India’s leading two-wheeler brand with a marginal YoY de-growth of 4 percent in the domestic market. It had retailed more than 5.25 lakh units during the same month last year. The MoM sales grew were also down by 6 percent as nearly 5.37 lakh units were sold in May 2026. The Vida electric scooters recorded a YoY growth of 184 percent as a total of 20,416 units were sold in June 2026. In addition, the Xoom dispatches increased nearly six-fold as compared to last year.
The Splendor was the top-selling model with sales of 3,36,856 units in June 2026 with a YoY growth of 8 percent. On the other hand, the sales of the Super Splendor declined to 16,168 units in June 2026 with a YoY de-growth of 21 percent. So, as we can see, the combined sales of the Splendor nameplate stood at around 3.53 lakh units last month.
The HF Deluxe, Hero’s entry-level commuter motorcycle, witnessed a massive setback last month as monthly sales went down to 44,292 units in June 2026 with a healthy YoY decline of 56 percent. Two Hero models, which registered a triple-digit YoY growth were the Vida e-scooters and Xoom at 184 percent and 595 percent, respectively, last month.

The sales of Vida electric scooters stood at 20,416 units in June 2026. The MoM numbers remained stable with a marginal 1 percent growth as May 2026 sales stood at 20,130 units. Vida consolidated its position as the fourth largest electric two-wheeler brand in June 2026 as retail volumes exceeded 20,000 units for second month on the trot in the domestic market.
Hero Passion YoY sales declined steadily by 42 percent with 15,290 units retailed in June 2026. The Xtreme 125R also reported a decline in retail volumes by 17 percent on a YoY basis as 13,220 units were sold last month. However, the Xoom recorded a triple digit YoY growth at 595 percent with 6,741 units sold in June 2026. The Xoom 160 dispatched stood at 1,458 units while the Destini 125 clocked YoY growth of 9 percent with 22,010 units in June 2026.
Hero’s entry-level scooter Pleasure posted YoY de-growth in double-digits at 32 percent with 7,121 units sold in June 2026. On the other hand, the Harley-Davidson X440, produced locally by Hero at the Jaipur facility, continued the strong sales momentum with YoY sales growth of 69 percent and sales of 1,197 units. The Xpulse 200 sales surged in June 2026 by 25 percent on a YoY basis with dispatched of 2,957 units.
