Hero June 2026 Sales: Exports Grow, Domestic Volumes Decline

The overall sales in June 2026 stood at 5.41 lakh units with a marginal YoY de-growth of 2 percent against 5.54 lakh units in June 2025

Hero MotoCorp registered sales of more than 5.41 lakh units in June 2026 with a marginal YoY de-growth of 2 percent as nearly 5.54 lakh units were sold during the same month last year. As far as domestic sales is concerned, the homegrown automaker retailed around 5.03 lakh units in June 2026 against 5.25 lakh units in June 2025 with a YoY decline by 4 percent. However, as per the Vahan data, the company witnessed healthy domestic retail momentum last month with 4.66 lakh registrations and 18 percent YoY growth.

In Q1 FY27 (Apr – Jun 2026), Hero dispatched 16.8 lakh units with a strong YoY growth of 23 percent against 13.7 lakh units during the Q1 FY26 (Apr – Jun 2025). The domestic registrations, reported on Vahan portal, during the last quarter stood at 15.3 lakh units with a 9 percent growth as 12.8 lakh units were registered on Vahan portal over the same period last year.

Hero’s electric subsidiary Vida posted a staggering YoY growth of 185 percent with 21,812 Vahan registrations in June 2026. The retail volumes continued to rise as an 8 percent MoM growth was also reported. Currently, Vida’s electric two-wheeler portfolio has two models on offer in the form of the V2 and VX2, and both of these are available with BaaS subscription programme and reduced upfront pricing.

As for exports, they increased from 28,827 units in June 2025 to 38,269 units in June 2026 with a YoY growth of 33 percent. In the first quarter of FY27, the export volumes surged from 64,413 units in June 2025 to 105,206 units in June 2026 with a healthy YoY growth of 64 percent. This success story was scripted by the continued expansion of premium portfolio, new product launches and focused market development initiatives in international markets.

Hero’s domestic motorcycle and scooter business also sustained a healthy positive momentum into June 2026. The growth was primarily driven by the scooter portfolio, which achieved strong double-digit growth, while motorcycle demand remained resilient. Additionally, the recently launched Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 continued to garner encouraging customer response.

Recently, the brand had also launched its first flex-fuel motorcycles in the Indian market in presence of Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari and Hon’ble Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri. These were the E85 fuel-ready versions of two of its top-selling bikes namely Hero Splendor+ and HF Deluxe.
