Hero sales numbers for March are in and the domestic sales struggled again… Compared from previous month, the sales did really well…
Hero Motocorp have revealed their sales numbers for March 2022.
The Domestic Sales see significant drop compared to last year’s sales. Exports again did well for the company.
The company has registered Gross Sales of 4,50,154 units sold in the month of March 2022, down 21.98% compared to 5,76,957 units sold in March 2021.

Motorcycles – The motorcycle sales dropped by 18.85%, dropping from 5,24,608 units sold last year to 4,25,721 units sold in March 2022.
Scooters – The scooters fared even worse. Their sales contracted by a massive 53.33%. The sales dropped from 52,349 units in March 2021 to 24,433 units in March 2022.
The Domestic Sales, therefore, saw a decline of 23.62%, only registering 4,15,764 units in March 2022.
The Exports were up by 7.09%, registering 34,930 units in March 2022.
Month-over-Month Sales
The monthly sales comparison will be a sigh of relief for Hero MotoCorp. All categories are in the green.
Motorcycles – The motorcycle sales grew by 25.78%, up from 3,38,454 units sold in February 2022.
Scooters – The scooter grew by 23.40%, up from 19,800 units sold in February 2022.
The Domestic Sales followed suit, expanding by 25.43% MoM.
The Exports showed a positive trend as well. It grew by a significant 30.37%, growing from 26,792 units registered in February 2022.
The Total Sales MoM expanded by 25.65%.
Fiscal Year-22 Sales
Coming to comparing the April-March time-period, the FY22 Domestic Sales decreased by 17.08% compared to previous, while the FY22 Exports expanded by a significant 56.89%.
