The bike which has literally taught India about superbikes, Hayabusa may seem to have got old but can still give the modern day motorcycles a run for their money.
To revive and refresh the motorcycle, Suzuki has introduced new colour options for the Hayabusa in India which are already on sale in the United Kingdom for some time. The engine remains the same 1,340 cc four cylinder DOHC mill producing 197.1 PS of maximum power at 9,500 rpm and 155 Nm of torque peaking at 7,400 rpm.
Hayabusa is now available in the following colour options:
- Candy Daring Red/Metallic Mystic Silver
- Pearl Bracing White/Metallic Mystic Silver
- Metallic Thunder Grey/Glass Sparkle Black
The bike, inspired from the Japanese peregrine falcon, despite the bulky appearance is a master performer and is capable of making many of its rivals eat dust. It is still one of the fastest production motorcycles in the world!
Along with this, Suzuki has stopped selling the special limited edition Hayabusa Z in India and has removed it from their website. Hayabusa carries a price tag of Rs 15.95 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
