Harley Davidson recently drew all our attention to its upcoming environment friendly electric monster of a motorcycle and is again hitting the news with an alliance with Marvel Studios to showcase the motorcycle in the next Avengers movie, along with the Made in India Street 750, which has been already got the taste of Hollywood in the first Avengers movie.
Announced at the San Diego Comic Con festival, Project Livewire, which is still in developmental stages, will be ridden by Chris Evans as Captain America and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The movie is set to hit the theaters on May 1, 2015.
The Project Livewire, though not released yet, was brought out to be reviewed by fans in San Diego to give their feedback on Harley Davidson’s first move towards a more sustainable product portfolio in the future. A brilliant move to secure the brand’s existence in the days ahead when regular fossil fuels would not be as easily available as now.
The Street 750, the other Harley to be featured in the movie, is the cheapest Harley on sale in India. It is also the first Harley to be manufactured outside the US. The bike has been a great success everywhere, especially in India where it is enjoying months and months of waiting periods.
