Harley-Davidson X440 Gets Second Price Hike Within 2 Months

The brand has once again increased the prices of the S and T grades of the X440 roadster by Rs 1,000 and Rs 2,000, respectively, in India

Harley-Davidson India has silently increased the prices of the X440 roadster in the country. Both the S and T grades receive a hike in price by around Rs 1,000 and Rs 2,000, respectively, which is quite nominal in nature. Earlier this year in June, the brand had carried out an upward revision in price for all the variants of the X440. However, this time around, the surge in pricing has been kept limited to the top two trims as the entry-level Vivid variant retains its existing price of Rs 2.36 lakh (ex-showroom).

With the latest price revision exercise, Harley-Davidson X440 T will now be available at Rs 2.86 lakh in the Indian market as compared to its previous price of Rs 2.84 lakh. On the other hand, the mid-spec X440 S will be retailed at Rs 2.60 lakh against its existing price of Rs 2.59 lakh. Apart from increasing the price, the company has made no changes in the design, features, hardware and engine specs of the motorcycle.

In June 2026, Harley-Davidson X440 Vivid received a nominal upward revision in price by Rs 1,000 which took its maximum retail price (MRP) to Rs 2.36 lakh as compared to the previous sticker price of Rs 2.35 lakh. The price of the mid-spec S trim was increased by Rs 4,000 and till now, it was available at a price point of Rs 2.59 lakh. The range-topping T variant got the highest hike in price by Rs 5,000 and it costed Rs 2.84 lakh against the previous price of Rs 2.79 lakh.

Harley-Davidson X440, being the brand’s entry-level model in India, is offered in three trims namely Vivid, S and T in our country. While the Vivid and S have been on sale for quite some time in the domestic market, the X440 T was launched in Dec 2025 as the latest addition to the variant line-up. It rivals the likes of Triumph Tracker 400, Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Honda CB350RS.

Harley-Davidson X440 can be availed at Hero Premia dealerships across the country. It comes with multiple advanced features in the form of Ride by Wire throttle, Switchable Traction Control, Ride Modes (Rain and Road) and Switchable Rear ABS. The bike is also equipped with first-in-segment Panic Braking Alert feature which activates all indicators to the traffic behind as soon as the deceleration is higher than 2.4m/s.

Apart from adding modern features in the new X440 T, Harley-Davidson also presented it with a restyled rear sub-frame as the bike boasts of an all-new rear section with grab handles. The entire X440 variant line-up boasts of alloy wheels as standard fitment as the Denim grade with wire-spoke wheels has already been phased out. It is available in four colour schemes namely Black, Red, Blue and White.
