Kawasaki Ninja 300 price has come down from Rs 3.43 lakh to Rs 3.17 lakh due to the introduction of GST 2.0 in the Indian market.
Kawasaki Ninja 300 has become cheaper by Rs 26,000 due to the recent GST reforms in the Indian market. Earlier priced at Rs 3.43 lakh, it will now be retailed at Rs 3.17 lakh post the downward revision in price due to GST 2.0 in the domestic market. The recent reduction in price has made it highly affordable that it even undercuts KTM RC 390 by Rs 5,000. For the unversed, KTM RC 390 is priced at Rs 3.22 lakh and despite the GST hike by the Union Govt, Bajaj Auto absorbed this impact and decided not to increase the price of the bike.
The GST on the entire 390 range of KTM which includes the RC 390 and 390 Adventure has been hiked to 40 percent from the earlier 28 percent. However, despite the increase, the company has maintained the same ex-showroom prices so that the buyers don’t have to pay an additional amount on the purchase of their favourite KTM motorcycle.
Speaking on the announcement, Manik Nangia, President, Probiking Business Unit, said, “KTM has always stood for accessible, performance-driven motorcycling. We love the fact that we have more than half a million customers, who trust us, and spread the enthusiasm for performance motorcycling, they are our true advocates and flag bearers. By keeping ex-showroom prices unchanged on our >390cc range, we reaffirm our commitment to motorcycling.”
KTM RC 390 is the only motorcycle in the Austrian two-wheeler brand’s portfolio in India to be powered by the older 373cc engine. The other two models namely Duke 390 and 390 Adventure have already been updated with the 399cc single-cylinder LC4c petrol engine which generates max power of 45.4 bhp and peak torque of 39 Nm. KTM could soon launch the new RC 390 with this engine.
As for the Kawasaki Ninja 300, it is the smallest Ninja model on sale in India with the 296c parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine at the helm. This engine churns out top power of 38.5 bhp and highest torque of 26.1 Nm while paired with a 6-speed gearbox and assist & slipper clutch. It gets twin-projector headlamps and floating windscreen inspired by the bigger Ninja ZX-6R.

Some of the notable features onboard the Ninja 300 are Bosch ABS, Semi-digital LCD instrument cluster, Petal disc brakes, 785 mm saddle height, and Telescopic front suspension among others. Sitting on a tubular diamond steel frame, Kawasaki Ninja 300 is available in three colour schemes namely Lime Green, Candy Lime Green and Metallic Moondust Grey.
