The Gen 3 Ola S1 Pro+ is presented with a choice of two battery packs in the form of 5.3 kWh and 4 kWh in the Indian market
Ola Electric has launched the S1 Gen 3 range of scooters in the Indian market. It has introduced the flagship Gen 3 S1 Pro+ with 5.3 kWh and 4 kWh battery packs at price points of Rs 1.55 lakh and Rs 1.70 lakh, respectively, (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) in the country. The new Gen 3 platform has increased the power and range of the electric scooters by 20 percent while reducing the running cost by 11 percent. The Bengaluru-based EV brand has stated that the deliveries of the Gen 3 portfolio will begin from mid-February in our market.
The Gen 3 Ola S1 Pro+ comes with several premium features in the form of front & rear disc brakes, dual-channel ABS and four riding modes (Hyper, Sports, Normal and Eco). Visually, the e-scooter boasts of dual-tone seat, body-coloured mirrors, new aluminium grab handle and rim decals. It is presented in six colour schemes namely Passion Red, Porcelain White, Industrial Silver, Jet Black, Stellar Blue, Midnight Blue.
Both the variants are equipped with an integrated MCU (Motor Control Unit) and mid-drive electric motor which dishes out peak power of 17.4 bhp. The range-topping 5.3 kWh Ola S1 Pro+ has a range of 320 km (IDC) on a single charge while the 4 kWh model delivers 242 km (IDC) on a full charge. The 5.3 kWh and 4 kWh do a 0-40 kmph sprint in merely 2.1 and 2.3 seconds while clocking a top speed of 141 kmph and 128 kmph, respectively.

In addition, Ola Electric announced that it will roll out the beta version of MoveOS 5 from mid February. The new OS will come loaded with an array of modern features such as Smartwatch App, Smart Park, Bharat Mood, Road Trip Mode powered by Ola Maps, Live Location Sharing, Emergency SOS and much more.
The Gen 3 electric scooters are offered with a standard warranty of 3 years/40,000 km for the scooter as well as battery pack. It can be further extended up to 8 years/1,25,000 km by paying Rs 14,999.
