Electric Two-Wheeler Sales Feb 2026: TVS, Bajaj, Ather, Ola

The leading EV brands recorded YoY growth in Feb 2026, except for Ola Electric which registered an all-time low sales in the last four years

The overall electric two-wheeler sales witnessed a YoY growth of 45.60 percent in Feb 2026 with a total of 1,11,709 units being retailed as compared to 76,722 units in Feb 2025. However, the MoM numbers were done by approx 9 percent as 1,22,812 electric two-wheelers were sold in Jan 2026. TVS Motor Company continued as the leading EV brand in India, followed by Bajaj Auto and Ather Energy at the second and third spots. On the other hand, Ola Electric sales came to an all-time low in four years as it was outnumbered by Ampere (Greaves Electric Mobility) for the first time.

Starting with TVS Motor Company, the Hosur-based two-wheeler brand continued to lead the e2w segment in Feb 2026 with sales of 31,614 units. It recorded a YoY growth of 66.78 percent as 18,955 units were sold in Feb 2025. However, the MoM sales declined by 8.5 percent as TVS had sold 34,558 units in Jan 2026. The demand for the iQube and Orbiter is rising with each month passing and hence, TVS is planning to increase production of both these models.

As for Bajaj Auto, Feb 2026 sales stood at 25,328 units with a YoY growth of 17.42 percent. The Pune-based two-wheeler brand had retailed 21,571 units during the same month last year. The MoM sales went down by nearly 1 percent as 25,598 units were sold in Jan 2026. The Chetak is receiving exceptional customer response in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities due Bajaj’s strong dealership network.

Coming to Ather Energy, it was the biggest beneficiary among the top three electric two-wheeler brands in Feb 2026 with respect to YoY sales growth. The Bengaluru-based EV start-up retailed 20,584 units last month against 11,978 units in Feb 2025 with growth rate of 71.85 percent. Although the MoM sales were down by 6.4 percent as 21,999 electric scooters were sold in Jan 2026. Ather Rizta family scooter is witnessing a strong demand in key urban markets across India.

Hero MotoCorp’s electric arm Vida sold 12,514 units in Feb 2026 against 2,696 units during the same period last year with a phenomenal YoY growth of 364.17 percent. However, the MoM sales went down by 5.9 percent as 13,302 units were sold in Jan 2026. The Vida VX2 low-budget mass-market electric scooter has proved to be a gamechanger for the brand as it has turned the fortunes upside down with sales volumes rising with each month.

Last but not the least, the tough times seem to be getting tougher and tougher for Ola Electric as sales numbers fall to a historic low in four years. For the first time, it was ousted from the list of top 5 EV brands by Ampere (Greaves Electric Mobility). While Bhavish Aggarwal-led EV brand sold 3,968 units in Feb 2026, GEM retailed 4,724 units last month.
