Ducati Scrambler Bookings Start at 50,000; Launch Next Month

Ducati India very recently re-started its second innings in India and this time they went solo. They continue with their aggressive product expansion drive and have started accepting bookings of the Scrambler.

On contacting the Ducati dealership in the national capital, we got to know that they have started taking bookings since Monday for an amount of Rs 50,000. Deliveries will start towards the end of next month and hence its official launch can be expected sometime early in May. The Scrambler is expected to be priced between Rs 6.5 to 7 lakhs.

A quick search at Zauba reveals that Ducati has imported more than 30 Scramblers from Thailand in India on 16th April at a product value of Rs 4 Lakhs.

Ducati’s Scrambler houses an 803 cc L-twin fuel injected, air cooled engine which produces a maximum power output of 74.8 PS at 8,250 rpm and 68 Nm of peak torque 5,750 rpm. Apart from the super sticky Pirelli tyres, you also get a handy USB charging socket in the under seat storage area.

The Scrambler is available internationally in four versions, Icon, Urban Enduro, Classic and Full Throttle.
