Ducati: Price Hike on Extended Warranty Postponed

Ducati extended warranty is a program which can be opted before the original warranty expires…

On the wake of the current COVID-19 pandemic, almost all the manufacturers have offered a relaxation in the warranties and services for customers who had their dates falling between the lockout period.

Ducati has shot in a press release which says it has deferred the price hike on the extended warranty on its motorcycles. It elaborates that if any Ducati owner’s warranty is expiring during the lockdown dates of 24th March and 3rd May 2020, he/she can buy the extended warranty till 31st May.

However, the press note does not clear if it is an extension in the warranty period as well – ie whether the motorcycle will continue to be under warranty if the last date falls during the lockdown.

Mr Bipul Chandra, Managing Director of Ducati India says,

Due to the current lockdown, we understand that the entire country is going through a tough time, including Ducatisti. We at Ducati, are fully committed towards providing the best services to our customers and will stand together with them during this global pandemic. With the relaxation in extended warranty price hike, we hope to add support to our Ducati family.
