Ducati Announces Results; Scrambler Turns Out to be a Hit!

Ducati Motor holding has recently announced that in the first half of 2015 the company has posted a 22 per cent increase in terms of global sales, with 32,600 motorcycles rolling out of their showrooms. They even set a new monthly record for the month of June 2015 when they managed to sell 7,400 motorcycles to customers. Their biggest market turned out to be the USA with a rise in sales by 10 per cent.

Wondering which models were their star performers? The Multistrada 1200 recorded 4,700 units, the Monster 821 scored 3,700 while the Panigale family registered over 3,000 unit sales.

From three of its production plants, Ducati caters to 90 international markets, the latest of these being India where Ducati has returned after a not-so-favorable first stint. Things though seem much better this time thanks to the absence of a middle man.
