I have been seeing this question come up again and again, so I decided to make a small post about it. If you leave comments in the posts of BikeAdvice, a grey man outline will be displayed by default. You can put your own image there by signing up for Gravatar.
Gravatar means Globally Recognized Avatars and many systems including the WordPress content platform use this. This is a one time process and your image will be displayed in each comment across all the wordpress blogs. This image is tied to the email ID that you give. As long as you give the same email ID in the comments, your image will be displayed.
