The new Avengers are launching tomorrow in Mumbai and ahead of that spy shots of the refreshed model have come up on the internet, yet again. So far what we know for sure is that there will at least be two versions of the new Avenger – Avenger Street and Avenger Cruise. Both of these motorcycles will be powered by the existing 220 cc oil cooled mill.
There is almost a confirmation of another third new avenger which will be powered by a smaller 150 cc mill – 4 valve motor from AS150 or 150 DTSi engine from current Pulsar, we don’t know yet!
A Motoroids reader has shared a few images of the Avenger Cruise 220 variant in what appears to be a parking lot of sorts (note the Activa, Dream Yuga and others in the background). The bike comes fitted with a chrome engine crash protector and a plastic wrapped saree guard.
The motorcycle in shiny black and chrome appears to be a minor cosmetic revision but we hope there are tweaks to the 220 cc torquey motor as well.
Bajaj has still not divulged any details of the upcoming Avengers but they surely have chosen an appropriate time to update the line, bang in the middle of the festive craze! Catch all the details tomorrow…
