BIG Price Drop on Chetak – Now One of the Most Affordable

Bajaj Chetak latest price has been slashed by almost Rs 14,000 which makes it one of the most affordable premium electric scooter in the market…

Bajaj currently only sells its Chetak in the two-wheeler electric vehicle space. The scooter has been in the market for the last few years and is a decent seller but definitely lesser than the established premium rivals.

Through a press note, Bajaj has announced a fairly big price drop as a ‘Festive’ discount. The scooter has now been priced at starting Rs 1,30,000 ex-showroom Bangalore. This is a reduction of about Rs 14,000. This latest step from Bajaj makes Chetak one of the most affordable comparable electric scooters from being one of the costliest earlier.

The company says that this price reduction is for a ‘short period’, without revealing the exact timeframe. In its communication, Bajaj has focused more on the legacy brand and widespread reach it has rather than showcasing the scooter’s key features.

Chetak marked the return for Bajaj in scooters. The all-metal scooter has a 108 kilometer ARAI certified range but a slow top speed of only 63 kph. There are no changes to the other specs of Chetak.
