Celebrate the Spirit of Motorcycling with MotoDay 2015 on June 21

Ever since the end of the two great wars, motorcycling has changed the way one travels. And to celebrate the spirit of motorcycling in the company of like-minded bikers, June 21 is celebrated around the world as the World Motorcycling Day. Yes, that’s a day when you can take out your bike and just ride away to glory and forget about the people who are trying to make this sacred day the International Yoga Day!

While some prefer to ride alone, many prefer to be in the company of a riding group. One such gathering is the MotoDay. In its second year, MotoDay has grown to be much more than a riding group which does point A to Point B runs. Whatever motorcycle you have it does not matter. Just swing your legs over and join the fun.

MotoDay 3

The event shall start with a ride from Chandni Chowk in Pune at 7 AM, to Lavasa International Convention Cente in Lavasa. The group will see participation of many solo riders as well as many biking clubs from in and around Maharashtra. The riders will also be given a small talk on DIY safety measures needed while riding. It will progress to a day full of various contests with informative and interactive sessions by some respected personalities from the motorcycling community.
