The first leg of the CEAT Pune Invitational Supercross League 2014 has been successfully concluded at Nashik which saw Team Bhalla Royale reign supreme over the rest. The Kute Racing track saw the team rise up to the challenge and emerge at the top of the league table with 153 points, registering a good 19 point lead over Arhana Racing, which scored 134 points.
SKP High Rollers came a close third with 130 points. DSK Racing, owned by the DSK group which has brought Hyosung and Benelli to India came fifth with 103 points.
MX1, which is the top most category of the championship entailing the Moto 1 and Moto 2 categories, saw a ferocious rivalry full of aggression leading to several nail biting finishes. Arhana Racing’s Harith Noah not only came out the best racer of the Nashik leg but also came out on top of the Moto 1 and Moto 2 legs.
The MX2 category, Ganesh Lokhande the local hero from Team Bhalla Racing won both his races easily helping the team rising up to the top.
The championship now moves to Kolhapur’s Mohite Racing academy on November 15-16, 2014 which will be followed by final round in Pune in December 12-14. The final round will also see international riders showing off their expertise.
