India’s leading tyre manufacturer, Ceat has roped in Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan as its brand ambassador for a period of two years. To start with, Aamir is doing two commercials for Ceat’s SecuraDrive range of tyres that will be aired during this IPL.
The first of this ad has been created by agency O&M and
will go live tomorrow is now live (inserted below). It is based on the theme – “Baat safety ki, Don’t be a dummy“. The storyline is shot at a tyre testing facility which features Aamir khan as a dummy. He comes to life when no one is watching and tries to manipulate situations to save himself from the threats of testing.
The advertisement showcases Ceat’s SecuraDrive tyre’s control and better braking and how it helps in different driving conditions.
At the onboarding of Aamir Khan, Amit Tolani, Chief Marketing Officer of Ceat, said that one of the best actor associating with one of the best tyre is a winning combination and its airing in IPL will ensure that the message reaches a wider audience. He elaborated that through this first commercial, CEAT wants to propagate the importance of using durable and high performing tyres.
