BGauss is the latest venture of the 800 million USD establishment RR Global group. BGauss has already launched two stylish looking scooters in the Indian market – B8 and A2. Let us discuss them one by one. BGAUSS B8 This is the flagship model from the company and comes with German technology of BOSCH Motor. It has a top speed of 50 km/h making it a high-speed scooter. On the B8 you get two options – you can either choose Lithium-Ion battery (which is removable) or you can go for the Lead Acid battery option (which is fixed). The B8 has a maximum range of 70 km with both the batteries. The Li-Ion battery, which is dust and water resistant IP 67, can be completely charged within 3 hours. It takes 2 hours to go from zero to 80 percent. There are three riding modes to choose from and they can be switched easily based on your usage and terrain. Other key features of the B8 include Push Button Start, Find Your Scooter, Remote Lock-Unlock, anti-theft Motor Locking and Anti-Theft Alarm, Side Stand Sensor, USB Charging & Reverse Mode. BGAUSS A2 In the low-speed segment, BGauss A2 makes a significant mark for itself. This quirky looking smart scooter stands out from the crowd and has a top speed of 25 km/h. Since it is a low-speed scooter, you do not need a license or even registration to ride it. It comes with a 250 Watt water and dust resistant BLDC motor along with three ride modes. It also has two battery options – Li-Ion and Lead Acid. The Li-Ion battery, which has a capacity of 1.29 Kw, is removable and can be charged anywhere with a regular socket as well as on vehicle. It takes 2.30 hours to charge from naught to 80 percent and 4.30 hours to reach 100 percent. Once fully charged, the scooter has a range of up to 75 km. Both the scooters are offered in a host of funky colors, and are rich with contemporary design. Another point worth mentioning here is that unlike few competitors, these BGauss scooters have removable batteries and can be charged through conventional 3-pin outlets in your office, cafes, home or wherever needed. This saves you from searching for special adapters, charging points or specific stations. Despite so many features and a warranty period of up to three years, the BGauss scooters are priced very attractively.
