RR Bgauss electric 2-wheeler launch this year. The company will venture with two products and production has already commenced... RR Global, which is known for its wires and cables business under the RR Kable brand in India, has announced its foray into the 2-wheeler electric vehicle business. It is a $800 million company and says that it understands the Indian market and has a fairly good experience of establishing multiple electrical business. The vehicles will be launched under the BGAUSS brand name. The company says that it will launch two products in the Indian market which will be branched out in five variants to start with. The Mumbai-based brand also shares that the scooters will be 'premium' and will be targeted at urban and developing areas. In fact, manufacturing and assembly of these products have already commenced at the company's plant in Chakan, Pune. In the first phase, RR is planning to produce 80,000 units of these two-wheelers within this financial year. Though it has not been cleared but it clearly means that the launch should happen in the coming few months.
