Suzuki Motorcycles has officially unveiled its new and updated products at the ongoing Auto Expo in Noida which kickstarted from today.
Suzuki’s largest selling two-wheeler Access was already updated with BS6 compliance few weeks back and today the company has also lifted the wraps of its updated Burgman Street 125.
The 2020 Burgman Street gets fuel injection instead of a carburetor. It continues to be powered by the same 124cc engine which churns 8.7 PS of peak power at 6750 rpm and 10 Nm of max torque at 5500 rpm. This means that the flamboyant looking scooter has lost 0.2 Nm of torque and it also comes 500 rpm later. Power figures have been retained but they now come 250 rpm earlier.
At 110kg, it has also gained 2 kilogram of weight and the fuel tank capacity is down to 5.5 liters from 5.6 liters of the older variant. The new Burgman also receives integrated engine start stop switch as a new feature addition.
It will be sold in x colours – Metallic Matte Black, Metallic Matt Fibroin Grey, Pearl Mirage White and the Glass Sparkle Black has been replaced by matte red colour whcih looks interesting. Prices are expected to be announced towards the end of this month. For reference, the current Burgman Street BS4 is priced at Rs 71,002 ex-showroom Delhi.
