BMW Motorrad Intermot with a storm. Not only are they set to launch two new motorcycles but are also expected to update a few products from their existing range. With EICMA, the biggest motorcycle show on the planet, just round the corner, of course the engineers at Munich would not land all the thunder at one show but divide the boom into two.
Let’s have a look at what can be the possible answers to this mystery about Intermot:
- Adventure version of G 310R:
A few members of the BMW Motorrad management have revealed they have an adventure variant of the street naked lined for a launch. While we did expect it to be kept in line for EICMA but there is a very good possibility of the smallest GS badged motorcycle be unveiled at Intermot itself. While the engine might get a slight tune up to suit the need several major changes to the suspension setup can be expected.
- R nineT:
While we all know that BMW has two new R nineTs lined up for launch. At least one of these can make it to Intermot. One of these goes by the name Pure while the other is called as Racer.
- S 1000RR facelift:
Now the present iteration of the S 1000RR was released back in 2015. The Germans have not really been known to update their flagship litre class so soon but with the Japanese duo of Honda and Suzuki are set to have a flagship offerings soon.
- Sports Cruiser:
This would be the biggest surprise of the year if BMW actually brings out a Ducati Diavel competitor. Rumours have been floating around for sometime that BMW might like to take on the cruiser segment with new vigour but nothing concrete has been found on the same so far.
