At the inauguration event of Benelli’s Delhi dealership, which happens to be their first in North India, we caught up with Shivapada Ray, Chief Operating Officer of DSK and posted a few questions. While we will share the complete interview later, here is an update on their expansion plans in the country.
Delhi was their eighth dealership in all and they plan to launch another one next week plus four more are coming next month. This will take the total count to 13 exclusive showrooms for the Italian bikes across the nation by the end of next month. Double digit dealerships within 3 months of their official launch is nothing short of an achievement. It must be borne in mind that these are dedicated Benelli dealerships and have no iota of relation with DSK’s other partner Hyosung which operates with its own set of dealers in the country.

These four will be launching next month and at the pace they are moving they can surely be labelled as the fastest expanding Sportsbike company in the country. Benelli’s future products include the single cylinder 250cc TNT25 and Trek Amazonas which will be launched in India within this year.
