The upcoming Bajaj adventure motorcycle could be christened as ‘Trekker’ as it launches in the coming couple of months in India
Bajaj Auto is all set to launch its first dual-sport adventure motorcycle in the Indian market. Slated to have its world premiere around Nov/Dec later this year, it will be up against the Hero Xpulse 210 in our country. The upcoming Bajaj adventure motorcycle has been spied testing on several occasions on the Indian roads ahead of its official debut. This will be Bajaj’s next big launch for 2026 as the year shortly comes to an end. Earlier, Waldyr Ferreira – Executive Director of Bajaj Brazil, told the local media that it could be launched in December 2026 in the Latin American country.
First things first, the spy shots almost confirm that the Bajaj adventure bike will borrow the 249cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine from the Pulsar N250. We can clearly see cooling fins on the cylinder while a big radiator, usually seen with liquid-cooled engines, is missing. Hence, the earlier speculations of a KTM-derived liquid-cooled unit in the Bajaj ADV motorcycle can be outrightly dismissed.
The Pulsar N250 comes with top power of 24.2 bhp and peak torque of 21.5 Nm while paired with a 5-speed transmission. However, the company is likely to retune the engine and gear ratios to suit the character of an adventure tourer by extracting strong low-end and mid-range performance. Further, the 249cc engine will also help the company in keeping the production costs in check, which will subsequently result in an aggressive pricing.
Another major feature of the ADV motorcycle revealed by the latest spy pics is the all-digital instrument cluster with TFT screen. It appears identical to the 5-inch unit introduced with the Bajaj Pulsar N160 SS. The company had recently stated that the entire Pulsar range of motorcycles will be offered with this TFT screen as standard features.
We can also see a switchgear on the handlebar which again seems to have borrowed from the recently launched Pulsar N160 4V. However, it remains to be seen whether the ADV bike gets traction control system, switchable ABS and ride modes. Though, we can confirm that it will come with turn-by-turn navigation as standard. It is likely to ride on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels.

The suspension duties could be carried by telescopic front forks and monoshock unit at the rear.
