Bajaj Auto is likely to introduce a plethora of new ICE and EV models next year in the Indian market
Bajaj Auto will launch an array of new two-wheeler models in 2026 in the Indian market. These will include multiple Pulsar facelifts, an all-electric motorcycle and next-gen Chetak EV among others. The Pune-based auto brand will celebrate 25 years of Pulsar in 2026 and hence, it has elaborate plans to commemorate this momentous occasion. Rajiv Bajaj, MD of Bajaj Auto, had recently confirmed that multiple new Pulsars will debut in the coming months. We witnessed the launch of the 2026 Pulsar 220F just a few days back while the 2026 Pulsar 150 was spotted at a company dealership.
2026 Bajaj Pulsar Launch in India
Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director of Bajaj Auto had stated in an investors call that new Pulsar models are ready for launch in March and May 2026. Since the GST has been reduced to 18 percent from the existing 28 percent on bikes with engine capacity below 350cc, hence the brand Pulsar is being “further strengthened with new variants,” said Rakesh.
Recently, the first new Pulsar model out of the confirmed three was launched in the form of the Pulsar 220F. Another one, purportedly the 2026 Pulsar 150, was clicked exclusively by us at a company showroom without any camouflage. We expect the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 150 to go on sale in the next few days in the country. The third updated Pulsar could debut in March 2026 while the all-new ICE sub-brand could be introduced in May 2026.

All-Electric Bajaj Motorcycle
Reportedly, Bajaj Auto has also begun work on its first all-electric motorcycle which is likely to be a daily-use commuter model. The company’s EV platform will spawn multiple motorcycles of different body types and sizes. It would be rolling out entry-level electric bikes as well as high-performance premium motorcycles for India as well as several global markets. Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director – Bajaj Auto, called this move a “vigorous R&D push.”
Next-Gen Bajaj Chetak
Bajaj Auto is developing the next-gen Chetak electric scooter with an array of visual updates. The 2026 Chetak was spotted a couple of months back with heavy camouflage, hinting at a tentative launch by the middle of next year. It gets identical updates as the two recent Pulsar models in the form of turn indicators and tail-lamp cluster now housing LED units instead of the halogen bulbs.

The spy images also showed the inclusion of front disc brake, dual telescopic front forks and hub mounted electric motor at the rear wheel. Presently, none of the Chetak variants are sold with a hub motor at rear wheel. The e-scooter could be continued with the 3 kWh and 3.5 kWh battery packs with a range of approx 150 km on a single charge.
