Bajaj Auto is preparing a major product offensive ahead of the festive season, with two new Pulsar motorcycles and multiple Chetak variants among the upcoming launches
After the recent product announcement by Honda, Bajaj is now preparing for a product offensive. The company has confirmed plans to launch 10 new two-wheelers over the next six weeks, which means the period leading up to September could be particularly interesting for buyers. The upcoming products will include new motorcycles, electric scooters and updates to existing models.
The Pulsar brand will be at the centre of this product offensive. Bajaj has confirmed that two all-new Pulsar motorcycles will be introduced in the 125cc and 150cc segments. The next-generation Pulsar 125 has already been spotted testing, and the new models are expected to bring significant changes rather than just a fresh set of colours and stickers.
The upcoming Pulsar 125 is expected to feature a redesigned chassis layout, along with a centrally mounted rear monoshock. It could also be offered with both single-piece and split-seat configurations. Features such as LED lighting, Bluetooth connectivity and a new digital instrument cluster are also expected. The new Pulsar 150 could receive similar updates, with Bajaj also likely to focus on better low-end torque, improved fuel efficiency and lower NVH levels.

The core design language of the current Pulsar Classic range is expected to be retained, though the new motorcycles could look considerably more modern. Bajaj has been gradually refreshing the Pulsar family, and these new models could be another step towards making the range more competitive in the increasingly crowded 125cc and 150cc segments.
The company’s electric scooter portfolio will also be updated. Bajaj is expected to introduce new Chetak variants as part of the 10-model launch plan. The Chetak brand has been growing steadily over the past couple of years. Historically too, Bajaj has launched multiple variants of the Chetak over a very short period of time. We could see it happening again.

Bajaj Auto plans to increase this figure to more than 9 million units over the next few quarters. They are currently clocking about 7.5 million units a year. The additional capacity will primarily go towards electric two-wheelers, electric three-wheelers and premium motorcycles. Bajaj is expected to achieve this through a combination of expansion at existing facilities and a new greenfield plant.
The upcoming launches come at an important time for Bajaj. The Pulsar range contributes close to two-thirds of the company’s two-wheeler sales, while electric vehicles are also becoming increasingly important to its business. With the festive season approaching, Bajaj seems to be preparing to give buyers plenty of new options. Ten new two-wheelers in six weeks is not exactly a quiet product update.
