In yet another bid to upset Hero Honda and probably cheer us, country’s second largest motorcycle manufacturer, Bajaj Auto is gearing up for ‘something’ on May 10th. According to confirmed news, Bajaj Auto is all set to launch an important offering this month. We have very less clues about what it could be. The needle is tilting slightly towards a new model for Discover, for which we have our own apprehensions.
Bajaj has started this year on a fantastic note as they sold the highest number of two wheeler units for the month of April 2010 and has plans to touch the 4 million units by this fiscal end. And to propel further growth to achieve the set targets Bajaj has confirmed that it will be launching a new two wheeler on May 10th. As Rajiv Bajaj puts it, Bajaj is scheduled to a ‘MAJOR’ launch on the said date. As far as we can predict, this bike would be more inclined to the mass segment and not something for the performance seekers. If we are allowed to go a step ahead in predictions, it will probably be a 125 or a 150cc bike. What that major launch could be, only 10th May will tell and as obvious we will keep you informed.
