In a bid to increase its sales volume, Bajaj Auto has re-launched the CT100 in the commuter segment for a sticker price of Rs 35,034. The company has kept it as a low-key affair and has updated details of the motorcycle on their website.
Engine:
The new CT100 sports the same engine from the old Platina 100, displacing 99.27 cc producing the same 8.2 PS of power at 7,500 rpm and a peak power output of 8.05 Nm at 4,500 rpm. The four speed transmission is capable of pushing the bike to a claimed top speed of 90 kmph.
New CT100 Fuel Efficiency
Like the insane ~97 kmpl claim of the new Platina DTSi ES, the CT100 also comes with some brain-numbing numbers. According to Bajaj, the CT100 has been ARAI certified at a whooping 89.5 kmpl of fuel efficiency. At a fuel tank capacity of 10.5 liters, it has an (ideal) range of over 900 kms!
CT100 gets the same SNS suspension with an orange spring! The bike has lost weight and tips the scale at 108 kg for the alloy wheel model. The ground clearance is 169 mm and it is slightly smaller than the Platina 100.
Colours:
CT100 is available in the following two colours:
- Ebony Black
- Electron Blue
Both of these are featured on this page.
CT100 Price:
Bajaj has priced the bike lower than the Platina 100.
- CT100 Spoke Wheel: Rs 35,034
- CT100 Alloy Wheel : Rs 38,034
*both prices ex-showroom, Delhi
Bajaj has been loosing a lot of domestic market and along with Platina ES, the CT100 are their latest salvo in the entry level segment to push sales…
