Bajaj Chetak 3503 Launch Price Rs 1.10 Lakh – Details

The Chetak 3503 is the cheapest electric scooter in the 35 series while missing out on a few advanced features but retaining the same range on a full charge.

Bajaj Auto has silently launched the Chetak 3503 at an introductory price of Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the Indian market. The Pune-based two-wheeler brand rolled out the Chetak 35 series in Dec 2024 with three variants namely 3501, 3502 and 3503. While the prices of Chetak 3501 and Chetak 3502 were announced at that time, the price of the Chetak 3503 has been revealed today on the company’s official website. Bajaj Chetak 3503 is the most affordable electric scooter in the 35 series as the 3501 and 3502 are priced at Rs 1.35 lakh and Rs 1.22 lakh (Both ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively, in India.

The Chetak 3503 is available in four colour schemes namely Brooklyn Black, Indigo Blue, Matt Grey and Cyber White. It misses out on the sequential blinkers which we saw in the 3501 and 3502 models. The e-scooter has an under-seat storage capacity of 35 litres. The 3503 also boasts of two riding modes namely Eco and Sports while Hill Hold also comes as a standard feature.

The Chetak 3503 comes with the same round colored digital LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity which enables music playback, incoming call alerts and message notifications. The riders can accept/decline the incoming call with the tap of a button on the touchscreen LCD display screen. The electric scooter is offered with a front drum brake as standard fitment unlike the Chetak 3501 and 3502 which come with a disc unit.

Since the Chetak 3503 uses the same platform as the other two e-scooters in the 35 series, it is equipped with the same 3.5 kWh battery pack with almost identical range of 151 km on a single charge. Though the top speed stands at 63 kmph which is nearly 10 kmph less than the top speed of 3501 and 3502 models.

The 3503 can be charged from 0-80 percent in 3 hours and 25 minutes via a 950W on-board charger which is the same as the Chetak 3502. However, the range-topping Chetak 3501 only takes 3 hours in achieving the 0-80 percent charge. Bajaj has not discontinued the 29 Series which has a lone variant in form of Chetak 2903 with a 2.9 kWh battery at Rs 98,498 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Bajaj Chetak 3503 rivals Ola S1 X+, Ather Rizta S and TVS iQube 3.4 in the Indian market as all these electric scooters fall in the same ballpark in terms of pricing.
