Bajaj Auto have released their sales figures for the month of April 2022. The Domestic sales and the Exports have declined significantly when compared with the previous year.
The company registered Gross Sales of 2,81,711 units of two-wheelers in the month of April 2022. This indicates a drop of 26.34% from 1,26,570 units sold in April 2021.

Year-over-Year Sales
The Domestic Sales registered 93,233 units sold in the month of April 2022. It is a drop of 26.34% from 1,26,570 units sold in April of 2021.
The Exports are also in the red, registering 1,88,478 units in April 2022, compared to 2,21,603 units registered in April 2021. It is a decline of 14.95%.
Month-over-Month Sales
For MoM sales, the Domestic sales declined while the Exports grew.
The Domestic Sales dropped by 12.93%, from 1,07,081 units sold in March 2022.
Conversely, the Exports expanded by 26.29%, compared to 1,49,243 units exported in March 2022.
The Gross Sales followed the similar trend as the Exports and grew by 9.90% compared MoM.
Year-to-Date Sales
Since this is the start of the Financial Year-23, the YTD numbers are similar to the YoY number mentioned above.
