Avore, the Gujarat-based pure EV brand, has launched the EX range of electric motorcycles in the Indian market. The company has launched EX1, EX2, and EX2S at price points of Rs 1.23 lakh, Rs 1.46 lakh, and Rs 1.70 lakh, respectively, in our country. All the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom. Avore EX electric motorcycle bookings have commenced at a token payment of Rs 799 while we need to wait for an update on the exact delivery timelines in the various regions of India. Lets talk about the all-electric bike in detail.
Starting with Avore EX1, it is equipped with a 3.24 kWh (active-cooled IPU-X) battery pack which returns an IDC range of 160 km on a single charge. It can clock a top speed of 100 kmph while boasting of four riding modes. The all-electric motorcycle will be retailed in three colourways namely Stellar Black, Starlit Blue and Meteor Red. The bold street silhouette has been integrated with signature beacon lamps.
Some of the standard features onboard the Avore EX electric motorcycle series are Projector headlamps with DRLs and Intelligent Glare Sense optics, Swingarm-mounted electric motor, Smart Trip Analytics, Theft, Fall and Tamper Alerts, Smart Geo-Fencing and Alloy wheels. The EX1 takes 3 hours for a 20-80 percent charge with a 750W onboard charger through 5 A household socket.
Coming to the EX2, it gets a bigger 5 kWh battery with an IDC range of 255 km on a full charge. The top speed remains the same as the EX1. It is also presented with four ride modes while it takes only 2 hours for a 20-80 percent charge through a standard 15A socket. The all-electric motorcycle will be available in three dual-tone colours namely Meteor Blue, Starlit Red, and Stellar Black.
Last but not the least, the range-topping EX2S shares the battery pack with the EX2. However, the top speed and IDC range have gone up to 114 kmph and 260 km, respectively. It comes with five ride modes and a 7-inch TFT touchscreen instrument cluster. It is the only variant to come with turn-by-turn navigation, auto-decline call option and SMS alerts.
